Where Do We Go?
Greetings and thanks again for all your comments, chat, notes, watches, faves, tips and tutus, I mean tuts! It's great! I soooooo appreciate it!
(As for tips and tuts: I'm working on them!)
Watch List:
It seems that I am befriending people and then somehow they are not turning up on my list.
Please give me a shortcut here and let me know: if you accidentally devwatch someone twice do they disappear from your watch in the same way that fave pics do?
Is it possible to have a cap on the number of people who watch you? There's been a case where I tried to put the person on my list (they already had over 9000 watchers!) and the system wouldn't let me...meanwhile I am awaiting an explanation from the person in question....
So if any of these problems have happened to you, let me know, especially if I have put you on my watch then removed you. I haven't purposely removed anyone from my watch ever!
(EDIT: decided to go through my fave gallery and see who I faved to make sure that I have those people on my devwatch. I just going to do that without messaging each person. Hope you don't mind!)
Another edit: I found out that clicking on someone's devwatch twice deletes them so I have fixed things up! Thanks to Antonio!
Heart Contest:
Not too long ago I saw a site here that was having a "heart" contest open until the end of February. It allowed any type of media, I believe. If you happen across it, please let me know. Thanks.
Where Do We Go?
I was just talking to my new friend WolfSorcerer
'Where Do We Go From Here?' and it really reminded me of a) the Japanese red-headed crane [tancho tsuru] and the song 'Where Do We Go?' The one I am thinking of is pretty heavy metal or alternative rock, came out some years ago (10?) and is sung by one guy using a lot of falsetto he repeats the refrain, "Where do we go"? numerous times and goes into a classic weavy (up and down the scale) sounding solo on the word "go" at the end.
He sounds agonised. It's gotta be somebody like Guns and Roses (but it's not them), Maybe Pearl Jam? Anyway, I looked it up on LimeWire and came up with over 200 songs related to that lyric! So if anyone can help me here, I'd appreciate it, it's driving me nuts! And I'm already nuts!
Found out the song is Sweet Child of Mine by Guns and Roses - gotta love that Axel! So I am listening to it again and not being driven crazy! Thanks to
That's all for now folks!

No, you can only delete them from your list by checking the box "remove" in your friends list. You can click "+deviantWATCH" as many times as you like, that won't take them off your list.
As for the song, the only one I remember is from Chicago, and it wasn't heavy rock for sure, just Peter Cetera's sometimes annoying voice!
COOL avatars collection you have here!!. Wonder who that wolfie is!
It's Guns and Roses Sweet Child of Mind - I'm going to download it now and listen to dear Axel!
Thanks so much for your comment on my avatar collection! Lol! I really like to put up the whole group of icons in this way so that anyone passing through my page might be curious to take a look at all these great artists!
Gee, I can't imagine who that Wolf could be!??! Aren't there more than one!?!?! Lol! I sent yours to a very good (viewer but not maker) called WinterWolf. We are friends in real life - how about that, eh? She adores wolves of any kind! Tee hee!
And yes, we still have a few left in BC! Many people admire them greatly here. Of course a lot of dogs have been interbred with them too! This is a fact! I long thought they must be too different to produce viable offspring but not so. So there are a lot of wolf like dogs here - they aren’t let to wander around in Vancouver - of course (?!?!?) but I do remember when I first moved to Prince George (500 miles north of here) there were a lot of wolf-like dog packs wandering around at all hours.
We couldn't believe people could be so stupid as too let their dogs run free like that and there were always incidents of smaller dogs (who sometimes ran with the pack too!), cats and even children getting savaged by them.
Now the dogs that savage people here (it happened to a friend of mine recently) tend to be untrained pit bulls of one sort or another. They're one of the only dogs I consider cute but you probably know they were bred for fighting so they absolutely have to be trained well and even then...
Well my girlfriend had an English Bull Terrier (which I disliked at first then later got to like) who nearly killed one of her twins who were babies at that time. The dog had to be put to sleep - believe it or not, it was sooo sad! Her daughter did recover OK, fortunately.
And then recently she had another dog - forget the breed that was practically killing all her other dogs (she lives in the country - Gabriola Island in the Gulf Islands so she's a crazy animal collector, cats, and dogs mostly nowadays! Lol!) and that one had to go too. It's terrible really!
In Vancouver besides the popularity of pit bulls (especially amongst people who think a tough looking dog makes them tough too! and the so-called homeless {usually Quebecois youth making the grand tour of Canada so they need protection on the street?!?!? because they are often begging and sleeping rough. I hate this concept!} coyotes run free and I don't mean the kind that run people across borders in horrific ways - god knows why they're called coyotes!
Anyway, you never seen them really unless you are hanging around outside at night! (You will see a lot of raccoons and skunks though!) They usually hunt for cats, squirrels that sort of thing - so people are pretty careful about keeping their pets in at night. Not me though - it's terrible but my cats can't stand it if I close my one window/sliding door in the apartment. We all feel a little claustrophobic and there's no ventilation. So even on the coldest days, that sliding door is locked open just wide enough for them to come and go.
I have a huge high fence behind the place that coyotes couldn't jump and the cats can run fast if such as thing were to happen! I just hope for the best for them cos I would go into total shock if one of them disappeared or died.
The crazy thing is, they hardly ever go to the bathroom outside! They come pelting into the house to use the litter box, just like little kids. It's so funny! Also they often have to go to the bathroom at exactly the same time I do!
Hey well there's a nice tangent for you!
(No wonder it takes me so long to answer all my messages when I'm writing epistles like this all the time! Well, I have to do something while I'm waiting for Apos to render!)
So you have a wolves loving friend?...COOL!!. No breedings...real pure wolves.. Arrrgh, I hate those people having tough dogs for feeling the same way. They often consider them as extensions of their personality and able to do what etiquette won't allow them!. Fancy cars and other mechanical devices work in pretty much the same way. Like multicoloured feathers in birds, needed to attract females. A human sublimated conduct that in the bottom is primitive.
Back to the medical drugs issue. You were very right. In my case, take a pill prescripted by my shrink. It makes me sleep well and lower my usual high revs during the following day. If things are decently fine, I don't take it, and escape from a possible addiction. Been taking it for a bit more that 2 months, and didn't need to increase the dose. Oh yes, these are very good to control those suicidal ideas that sometimes come to mind!.
Without your streamlined life, have had some, let's say, complex days, and haven't been to DA much. Everything has accumulayed and now trying to catch up. My mood isn't the best, but working on it and gradually recovering. A good full moon would really help!!
Total agreement about your previous statements. But I've been on and off meds for nearly 35 years!
My life has been a bit less streamlined than I would have liked, having to leave the building 2x in 2 days! Lol! Tomorrow I think I'm going to have to do the laundry! I hate that!
(Now I was feeling pretty good all day today compared to the 14th but here's Headache back again!)
On and off meds for 35 years??!!. Geee, you must be something!
I'm a bit disappointed with you and the idea I had about your streamlined life. Going to the laundry has no redemption!!!
Lately it's been way to cold to walk around in the daytime, forget the night [link] , plus this neighbourhood is the teensiest bit dodgy at night.
About the meds - yes, I AM something! ROTFLMAO!
OK< I lied about the total streamlining! I had to go out, pick up a ticket (which I could well have not got sucked into doing it live instead of on the net), cat food, cat litter, milk, ice (for my water, juice etc, not booze!) and brown death! Anyway I hate those fake sugars and everything I've read about them says they're woese than sugar and more likely to give you diabetes!
Haven't done the laundry and I still have a headache. Will I have to breakdown and go to the chiro?
